The article refers to the recent upgrades that have been done to Aadhaar system including Virtual ID, UID Token and Limited KYC. It analyzes how this combination minimizes the serious privacy violations such as aggregation and secondary use and prescribes why there is a need to go beyond these technical steps to educate both the Authentication User Agencies and the end users of the nuances of privacy and owning responsibilities accordingly.
