Vice President (Industry Initiatives), NASSCOM
K S Viswanathan, (KSV) is currently serving as Vice President (Industry Initiatives) at NASSCOM. His key charter is to enable the technology capabilities for the IT eco system in the country – both the traditional segments as well as the newer emerging ones (particularly Digital) to help India retain its supremacy in the IT industry. In addition, KSV leads the Start-up & Open Innovation initiatives at NASSCOM to enhance the innovation capabilities of the digital eco system.
In a career spanning more than three decades, Mr. Viswanathan has held strategic & leadership positions at Wipro Infotech, Dell, and Azim Premji Foundation. His past roles in the industry included Senior Vice President and Chief Executive for India at Wipro Infotech; Managing Director of Dell India in 2000, and was the Project In-charge to establish a legal framework for the Azim Premji University.
KS Viswanathan has been recently inducted as a member of the Advisory Committee by CSIR- Fourth Paradigm Institute, Bangalore
With over 37 years of relevant Industry experience, he is a graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and holds a MBA in Marketing from Madras University.
