Graduation ceremony for Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics

 

IIIT Bangalore held its first Graduation Ceremony for successful students of its fully online program, Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics (PGDDA) at its campus in Electronics City, Bengaluru on Saturday, August 5th 2017. Mr. Naresh Shah, President, EG India R&D, HPE was the chief guest for the occasion. 

 

PGDDA is a rigorous 11 month online program conducted jointly by IIIT Bangalore and UpGrad. This course is primarily designed for working professionals who would like to upskill themselves even as they continue to work. PGDDA programme  covers the depth and breadth of the subject in the form of interactive lectures, live sessions and a 3 month capstone project mentored by industry professionals

 

 

The success of the IIIT Bangalore PGDDA programme is reflected in the enrolment of 466 students for the 2nd Cohort which started on 31st Mar, 2017, and 400 students for the 3rd Cohort which started on 31st July, 2017.

After achieving great success in their first online Program, IIIT Bangalore and UpGrad are launching their next 11 months online program, ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering’. These programmes being completely online provide flexibility to students to learn at their convenience without quitting their jobs and up skill themselves. 

PGDSE program is being developed by experienced faculty from IIITB and leading senior professionals from Indian IT/ Technology sector. The program will prepare students to excel in this rapidly evolving technology landscape, by strengthening their core concepts in computer science and providing exposure to the latest software engineering technologies and practices.
