Big Data and AI 2025 was successfully held from July 17 to 20 at IIIT-Bangalore.
The four-day event opened with three focused workshops, followed by three dynamic days of conference sessions. The conference hosted several distinguished keynote and invited speakers, including Prof. Biplav Srivastava, Dr. Kalika Bali, Mr. K. Anvar Sadath, Dr. Manas Gaur, Dr. Prasad Deshpande, and Prof. Yogesh Simmhan. Their talks offered a rich blend of perspectives
from academia, industry, and policy, sparking thought-provoking discussions among attendees.
Students from various institutions presented their research through 15 regular papers and 8 short paper presentations. The event also featured two tutorial sessions and an industry track that explored recent trends and challenges in AI, offering diverse viewpoints on the rapidly evolving landscape.
The conference concluded with a well-received session on AI in Education, which drew enthusiastic participation and wide appreciation.
Overall, BDA 2025 proved to be a memorable and impactful gathering for the research community.
