Virtual Tour

 Mar 15, 2021 - Mar 31, 2021

Are you excited about technology? Do you enjoy designing for social impact? Do you enjoy hackathons? Do you want to win amazing prizes?

I-Stem is excited to announce registrations for our annual event Inclusive Stem Confluence alongwith our partners IIIT Bangalore, Vision Aid, Vision Empower and XRCVC. The confluence includes various initiatives including a hackathon where people with and without disabilities work together to develop solutions to some of the most pressing accessibility problems while also learning from each other. So far, three such events have been organized with nearly 200 participants with and without disabilities from 7 academic institutes and 11 corporates participating.

Registrations are now open for the fourth Inclusive Stem Confluence. This confluence is completely virtual and includes a 6-week inclusive hackathon where people with and without disabilities can work together to solve for challenges in education, employment and social connection for people with disabilities. Participants can ideate and develop as
per their convenience (we don’t expect participants to work all six weeks), and will be provided accessibility support by I-Stem and its partners. Not only will students learn more about accessibility, but will also be able to connect and work with industry participants from several companies including Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank
among others.

Students with and without disabilities passionate about solving hard problems using technology are welcome to apply, and you do not need to know how to code to participate. You can find more information and register at inclusivestem.org/hackathon.html

If you have any questions, please reach out to the I-Stem team at info@inclusivestem.org.
