IIIT Bangalore is organising a virtual Open House Webinar as part of admissions for the M.Sc. Digital Society programme 2022. The webinar will feature faculty members Amit Prakash and Janaki Srinivasan and include alumni of the programme Prasaanth Balraj and Srravya C.
About the Panelists
Amit Prakash is an Associate Professor and heads the Centre for Accessibility in the Global South (CAGS) at IIIT Bangalore. His focus areas include information systems in domains like public health & nutrition, education & skill development, and food & livelihood security.
Janaki Srinivasan is an Associate Professor at IIIT Bangalore and heads the Centre for Information Technology and Public Policy (CITAPP). Her areas of research are Political economy of information-based development, privacy, and politics of work automation.
Prasaanth Balraj joined the M.Sc. Digital Society programme in 2016. He currently works as an Associate Solutions Manager at Wadhwani AI.
Srravya C. joined the M.Sc. Digital Society programme in 2018. She is currently a Ph.D. student at the Centre for Human-Computer Interaction Design (City, University of London).
