IIIT Bangalore
A 30-hour Police Hackathon will be hosted at IIIT Bangalore from February 4 to February 5. This hybrid Hackathon is organized by Karnataka State Police that aims at fixing issues like crowd-sourcing of records, missing person identification, and fraud app detection using technologies like Data Science, AI, and Machine Intelligence.
Since IIIT Bangalore is an Academic partner, the faculty members will mentor the participants during the Hackathon. Researchers from the Centre for Internet of Ethical Things (CIET) will volunteer for the event. Prof. Ramesh Kestur and Prof. G R Sinha will be part of the jury panel.
