IIITB is honoured to welcome Prof. Hanan Samet, University of Maryland, College Park to give a talk on the topic "Scalable Network Distance Browsing in Spatial Databases" on January 17, 2019 at 11 AM.
Prof. Hanan Samet is the author of the recent book "Foundations of Multidimensional and Metric Data Structures". He is the Founding Editor-In-Chief of the ACM Transactions on Spatial Algorithms and Systems (TSAS), an Associate Editor of Graphical Models, and an Advisory Editor of the Journal of Visual Languages and Computing. He is on the editorial boards of GeoInformatica and Image Understanding.
