- About Us

Our 1st year M.Tech ECE students Vinay Rayapati, Gopala Krishna Reddy Sanampudi, Ravi Kiran Reddy and Ajay Kumar with Prof. Nanditha Rao have won the VLSI design contest at VLSI Design Conference 2023, Hyderabad.
The event was one of the largest VLSI-D conferences and witnessed more than 1500 participants. The theme of the Design Contest was "Hardware and Embedded software co-design with hardware acceleration in an SoC FPGA".
There were 75 submissions in the Design Contest category from various institutions across India. The top 15 submissions were selected to prototype their idea on Microchip PolarFire SoC FPGA Kit. There were 10 teams demonstrating their idea on 11 January 2023 (Day 2 of the main conference). The team from #IIITBangalore successfully demonstrated the idea on "brain tumour segmentation through hardware software co-design". They are the winners of the design contest. Congratulations to the participants!
