The concept of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) is a frequently discussed topic among global think tanks. At its core, DPI relies heavily on data and internet connectivity. The Workshop on Web Science for Development (WS4D) 2024, held at IIIT-Bangalore, provided a comprehensive exploration into the intricate relationship between data, the internet, and the role of data exchange in driving DPI.
The event highlighted a DPI thinking poster presentation competition, which showcased innovative ideas and solutions related to DPI.
