The Yuvamanthan Model United Nations (YMUN) at IIIT-Bangalore witnessed dynamic discussions on two pivotal agendas: Strengthening Democracy in the Current National Context at the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) and Equity and Justice in Climate Action in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) committees.

In the AIPPM committee, participants referred as delegates debated democracy's status, focusing on political parties' role, electoral challenges and citizen engagement strategies. They emphasized transparency, accountability and inclusivity for democratic integrity, discussing issues like polarization and marginalized community empowerment.

In the UNFCCC committee, participants referred as delegates addressed climate change's unequal impacts, advocating for fair policies and sustainable development. Topics spanned climate finance, technology transfer and indigenous community roles in resilience efforts. Participants showcased profound understanding and proposed innovative solutions, stressing international cooperation and collective action. YMUN facilitated enriching dialogue, honing diplomatic skills and fostering a commitment to drive positive change for a sustainable, equitable future.
